Launching Web Central

If you want to see the Smart Client “production” view of the data and the Web “enterprise” view of the data side-by-side, you can use the Web Central command to start the view in Web Central in a separate browser window with the current user logged in. The Web Central view shares the same session as the Smart Client so you don't need to log in again.

This command provides access to the “Web Process Navigator” and “Web Dashboard” processes that are assigned to you.

This command also provides access to such features as:

• Certain System Administration features, such as the Application Update Wizard
• The ARCHIBUS Administrator features that enable you to manage user passwords
• The View Definition Wizard (useful for converting Windows Client/Server views).

To launch Web Central:

Run the Navigator/Web Central command from the Ribbon.
