Information in a view that controls a drawing's active layers. Each time you open a drawing in the ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD or the DWG Editor, the program examines the layer template of the current view and activate the appropriate layers in the drawing.
Use the Set Asset Layer command to activate a particular asset layer, or select a Process Navigator task that calls this command, such as the Set Equipment task. This loads the layer template of the view specified by the selected asset layer’s asset type.
