Breaking the link between an asset symbol and its record by stripping the asset symbol of its extended entity data and returning it to a regular drawing entity. Once the extended entity data is removed, uncataloged asset symbols do not display asset text and appear and behave like regular drawing entities. Uncataloging an asset symbol retains the database record but removes the record’s Drawing Name and Entity Handle values. To uncatalog an asset symbol, use the Asset/Uncatalog command. Compare catalog.
