A component of ARCHIBUS Smart Client, which is built on AutoCAD® OEM and is included in ARCHIBUS Smart Client through purchase of a DWG Editor license.
The DWG Editor operates the same as the Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD; the only differences are that it does not offer some of the advanced AutoCAD commands, such as commands for three-dimensional drawing or menu and AutoLISP customization. It does provide all of the essential 2D editing functionality including breaks, fillets, lengthen, extend, stretch, array, offset, multi-line text, external reference handling, and countless other drawing functions.
To start the DWG Editor, make sure that you have chosen DWG Editor as your Drawing Editor preference. Next, choose a drawing from the Drawing List, and the DWG Editor will start. You can also invoke it from the Start/Programs/ARCHIBUS/DWG Editor command.
