Before you create a tagged furniture inventory, you can establish the types of furniture at your company -- the furniture standards. Typically, a company will purchase multiple quantities of like furniture items. For example, it is likely that your company has purchased the same type of chair for all administrative personnel. ARCHIBUS defines this type of chair as a furniture standard. Furniture standards make it easier to track and update your furniture inventory.
Using the Edit Furniture Standards task, you can set up your furniture standards and can edit and delete standards as needed.
