Using the following tasks, you can generate reports that analyze asset financial information. For each furniture and equipment item, you can check its current value, depreciation cost for particular periods, and accumulated depreciation.
These reports are available from Web Central and from the Smart Client:
Note: Before generating these reports, run the Recalculate Tagged Furniture Depreciation and Recalculate Equipment Depreciation tasks, so that the reports include the latest depreciation data. The Web Central view includes a button to recalculate the depreciation at the top of the panel.
These reports present each depreciation log and then list furniture and equipment assets and their depreciation data (accumulated depreciation, current value, and depreciation expense) for the log's closing date.
For each tagged furniture and equipment item in your inventory, these reports present the item's accumulated depreciation, current value, and depreciation expense for each depreciation log. The reports list all tagged furniture and equipment items, including those for which depreciation is not calculated due to insufficient data or a log closing date that does not fall within the depreciation period.
