Utility Metrics Report

The Utility Metrics report provides access to energy metrics across the portfolio. This report can be generated from either the Energy Manager or Operations/Contracts Manager roles.

The Utility Metrics report provides both a drill-down selection list and a Filter console. These features work together to help you define the data shown in the reports.

Selecting the Data

Drill-down selection lists: You can report on any level within the drill-down selection list. The program rolls up data from the building to the site to the city to the region to the country. The charts sum the appropriate data to the level you select in the selection list. When you switch between tabs, the data remains filtered to the level you have selected.

Filter Console: You can use the Filter console to show only data from a specific range of Billing Periods. You can also select specific Bill Types to show in the reports. When you switch between tabs, the data remains filtered to your selection in the drill-down selection list.

Viewing Data Details

The Utility Metric charts are presented in tabs. You can see the data that the metrics are summarized from in the following ways:

Data: Clicking the Data button will open a window containing all the archived bills that make up the data at the current filter level. You can view the Document associated with a specific archived bill by clicking the Document button in the window.
XLS: Clicking the XLS button will download all the archived bills that make up the data at the current filter level to Microsoft Excel.
DOC: Clicking the DOC generate a paginated report of all the archived bills that make up the data at the current filter level.

Utility Metrics Reports

The Utility Metrics reports are presented in tabs below the Filter console and show the following data which is grouped according to the tab that you select:

Amount Expense (Sum): This is the sum of the Amount Expense for all bills within the current restriction.

Energy (MMBTU) (Average): This is the average of the Energy (MMBTU) for all bills within the current restriction.
Demand (kW) (Average): This is the average of the Demand (kW) for all bills within the current restriction.
Volume (CCF) (Average): This is the average of the Volume (CCF) for all bills within the current restriction.
Bills (Count): This is the count of all bills within the current restriction.
By Building by Site: The results are grouped by building by site.
By Building by Bill Type: The results are grouped by building by bill type.

By Building by Vendor: The results are grouped by building by vendor.
By Building by Building Use: The results are grouped by building by building use.
By Period by Building:The results are grouped by period by building.
By Period by Bill Type: The results are grouped by period by bill type.
By Period by Bill Type: The results are grouped by period by bill type.
By Period by Building Use: The results are grouped by period by building use.
