The facility index--also known as the Facility Condition Index or FCI--is an index number that indicates the current condition or environmental sustainability of an asset measured to its "as new" condition. The applications ships with a default formula, but you can enter a different formula, if needed, using the FacilityConditionIndex application parameter.
The default formula is:
(1000 * Estimated Costs (Total) / Replacement Cost)
Using the exact fields, this formula is:
(1000 * ( cost_estimated + cost_est_cap) / cost_to_replace)
