Fuel Density relates the volume of fuel to the mass of the fuel. Fuel density data is entered by fuel type, and by default is measured as kg / m3 (kilogram per cubic meter). You can define different units for measuring fuel density as needed using the Define Units task. See Defining Units.
The application uses fuel density in the calculation for on-site stationary fuel combustion.

The Define Fuel Density Versions, Fuel Types, and Data form appears.
Version: Enter a unique identifier for the fuel density protocol you are using.
Version Description: Enter information to further identify this protocol, such as the table number the data is found in, or the year the data is for.
Fuel Base Code: Select the name of the fuel base you want to add fuel density data for.
Fuel Name: Select the name of the specific fuel you are adding fuel density for.
Fuel Density: Enter the density obtained from the protocol version you have selected.
Fuel Density Units: Select the unit used to measure fuel density in your protocol.
