Select the Manage Service Desk Roles task from the Process Navigator to obtain a list of all Service Desk Roles defined for the Service Desk Step Types, along with their Java Class and Java Method.
Click on the Edit button next to the Service Desk Role and Step Type for which you want to enter the service desk role parameters.
For example, to use the Senior Executive role, define an employee standard of EXEC-SR in the Employee Standards table. Assign an appropriate employee to this standard.
To use a dispatcher, define a role in the ARCHIBUS Roles table and set Role Name to: %DISPATCH%

On the Edit tab page you can specify role parameters:
Select a predefined Service Desk Role by performing a lookup by clicking the button in the form field.
Enter or modify the Step Type by selecting it from the drop-down list.
Enter a Java Class or select an existing one by performing a lookup by clicking the ellipses button in the form field.
Enter a Java Method or select one that is already defined by performing a lookup by clicking the ellipses button in the form field.
Click on the Delete Selected button after marking the check box in front of the Service Desk Role/Step Type combination you want to delete.
Adding a Service Desk Role to a Step Type
Clicking on the Add Role button shows the Edit tab page in which you can enter the service desk role parameters.
