You can add new data transactions to request changes to data for an existing property.
Note: You cannot add a new transaction until the initial transaction for a property has been approved. Approved transactions have a status of 'Posted.' After the initial transaction has been approved, a property can have multiple transactions pending approval.
To add a new transaction:
The Properties Portfolio section shows the portfolio transactions matching the criteria you enter.
The Add a New Transaction for( Real Property Unique ID) pop-up window appears.
Description of Change: Enter a summary of the entries you are making. This enables those reviewing the transaction to quickly locate the changes.
Optionally, you can enter additional comments in the Comment field.
Note: If a data element has a value entered and approved for it, you can change the entry to any value, but you cannot delete the entry or select a blank entry from the selection list. If you select a blank entry from the selection list or delete the existing entry, this deletion will not be saved when the transaction is approved.
For example, if the Street Address for a property has been entered and approved as '1368 Cambridge St', when updating the data, if you delete the entry so that there is no street address entered, the value stored for the Street Address will still remain as '1368 Cambridge St.' However, if you enter a different address, such as, '1386 Cambridge St.', that entry will be saved.
The data for the transaction is not posted until the transaction is approved.
