Instead of allocating space using the Portfolio Forecast Wizard, you can create groups by drawing polyline boundaries in AutoCAD, using the Group Inventory method of the Space module. You can also identify the floor gross areas and the vertical penetration and building service areas to calculate the Floor Usable Area. To include the groups that you create in CAD in the Portfolio Forecast, you will need to copy them using the Copy from Group Inventory action available from the Portfolio Forecasting/Background Data/Define Portfolio Scenarios task.
