Reviewing Document and Drawing Actions
If you have uploaded documents or drawings to project actions, you can
review the documents or drawings associated with an action. You can review these actions from:
- the Management Console using the Project Management application
- the Commissioning Console using the Commissioning application
- the Process Navigator task Plan/View Actions with Documents and Drawings task accessed from the Project Management activity.

To review
actions that include documents and drawings:
- To access this task, do one of the following:
- From Project Management, using the Process Navigator,
select the Plan/View Actions with Documents and Drawings task.
- Access the Design/Commissioning Console:Design Phase task (using the Commissioning application), or the Plan/Management Console: Plan task (using the Project Management application). Select a project and then select the PIan/Documents and Drawing tab.
All actions that include a document or drawing are displayed.
- To see only actions with documents or drawings for a specific project, select the project in the Projects panel.
The Actions with Documents and Drawings panel shows actions for only the selected project.
- Click Edit in the row for the action.
The Action Item Details form appears.
- Click the Show Document button next to the Document field.
Depending on the document type (.doc, .xls, .dwg, .txt, etc.) and which
application software you have installed on your desktop, the file may
display immediately or the File Download dialog box may open.
- If the File Download
dialog box opens, click the Open button to open the file and view it.
