Quick-Start Space Learning Path: Connect your CAD Drawings and BIM Models to ARCHIBUS
To effectively use ARCHIBUS Space Management & Planning, you must have floor plan drawings. Depending on your CAD and BIM skills, you can outsource this task, develop CAD plans, or develop BIM Models.
Option 1: Outsource your drawing developmentIf you are not a CAD user, outsource your drawing development.Option 2: Use the ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD or DWG EditorIf you are a CAD user and have purchased the ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD or DWG Editor, follow this procedure.Prepare drawings for ARCHIBUS (video - 5:58)Create your gross and room polylines.
