The Asset commands are available from the Asset group on the Ribbon toolbar, or from the command line.
From the ARCHIBUS tab on the Ribbon, select the following from the Asset group: | From the command line, type: | Purpose |

Asset/Asset Layer | AFM_ASTLAY | Set the current layer to be one of the intelligent drawing layers that register their contents with the project database. |
Asset/Edit Data | AFM_EDITDATA | Edits data associated with an AutoCAD entity and adds asset properties to make it database-aware. |
Asset/Edit Data Multiple | AFM_ EDITDATAMULT | Edits the data associated with multiple AutoCAD entities at once. |
Asset/Number… | AFM_NUMBER | Numbers polylines or spaces sequentially, as for adding Room Numbers. |
Asset/Catalog | AFM_CATALOG | Re-registers selected assets with the database, revalidates their data, and refreshes their asset text. |
Asset/Uncatalog | AFM_UNCATALOG | Unlinks an asset with its database record. |
Note: For your convenience, the Number, Edit Data, and Edit Data Multiple commands may also appear on the CAD Process Navigator. The CAD Process Navigator also includes tasks, such as Set Rooms and Set Equipment, that run the Set Asset Layer command.
