Assigning Dashboard Processes to Users

After creating the views for the dashboard and defining the dashboards, the next step is to assign the dashboard processes to users.

You can assign a dashboard and process navigator tasks to the same user or role. The user is able to switch between these views by clicking the Show Navigator/Show Dashboard button on the top of each Web Central screen. The Navigation field on the My User Profile screen determines which view shows when the user initially signs in.

To assign dashboard processes to users:

  1. From the Process Navigator, select System Administration/ARCHIBUS Administrator - Users and Security/Assign Processes to Users.
  2. In the Users panel, select the user to whom you want to assign dashboard processes.

    The Assigned Processes panel refreshes to show the processes currently assigned to the selected user.

  3. In the Available Applications and their Processes panel, expand an application to show its associated processes.

  4. Do one of the following in the Available Applications and their Processes panel:
