Define Equipment and Equipment Standards

As a business process owner, you need to develop the following facilities background data if you are adding consumption source data for equipment. If your site uses other ARCHIBUS applications, you may find that you have already created this data.

• Define Equipment Standards: Set up standards that you can use as the basis for your equipment inventory. For information on the fields you enter using this task, see Equipment Standards Table: Field Reference.
• Define Equipment: Use this task to define the IT and building equipment at your site. If you have developed standards, you can associate the equipment with a standard. For information on the fields you enter using this task, see Equipment Table: Field Reference.
