Creating and Editing Request Types

To create, modify, and delete request types,select one of the following tasks:

Request Type Properties

In the top panel, you can enter basic parameter of the request type, such as:

Note: You can make a request type available to only one security group; you cannot enter multiple security groups.

In the lower panel you can specify which panels or fields display to the user when the user if completing requests of this type.

Click the Save button to confirm your settings.

If you select to include a questionnaire and you are not defining a Service Desk-Maintenance request, you will move to the Questionnaires tab. See Including a Questionnaire for a Request Type.
