If you want to cancel a service request while it is in execution, you can stop the request by running the Issue/Complete Service Requests task, which presents the Update Request form.
The first tab page shows a list of all requests assigned to you as a Service Provider. Select a request, and the Update page appears with detailed information about the request .
Before stopping the request, you may wish to associate a document with it by completing the Documents panel. This is handy for recording cost or other documentation about the request. See Using the Document Management System for information.
The Update panel shows a comment text box, in which you can give information on why you are stopping the request. Click the 'Stop Request' button to stop the request. This sets its status to Stopped.
Note: Stopping
a request enables you to still keep a record of any resources used
before the stop so that the cost can be calculated during close-out. Stopping a request is only applicable for Issued requests.
If the request has not yet been issued, it can be canceled. See Issuing and Canceling Requests.
