Comparing Data

ARCHIBUS Smart Client enables you to compare data in the following ways:

Arrange Command: If the ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD or the DWG Editor is loaded, this command tiles the Smart Client and AutoCAD applications side-by-side, so that you can compare the drawing to the database view of the data.
Compare production data: To compare production data side-by-side, start a separate instance of the Smart Client. For example, you can open a different project from the second Smart Client instance to compare data from different databases. Note that opening a separate instance of the Smart Client or Overlay checks-out one more license,
Compare production vs. enterprise data: Compare Smart Client production view of the data with the Web “enterprise” view of the data side-by-side by launching Web Central from the Smart Client. To do so, select the Web Central command from the Explorer group on the Ribbon Toolbar. See Launching Web Central. See Launching Web Central.
