Use the Portfolio Forecasting process to plan and allocate space over a period of time. In contrast to traditional inventory methods, in Portfolio Forecasting, each unit of space has a start and an end date. This allows you to track current data, to project future space, and to query historical data.
The application enables you to get up and running quickly by allocating space at the group rather than at the room level. A group is an area of a floor of a building assigned to a single department.
